Dhanush Ragav N S scored an unbeaten 9/10 to win 2nd ICC Rating Open 2025. He finished a half point ahead of the rest. Prajith Kishore scored sole 8.5/10 to be placed second. Justin Samuel Rebello and Gokul G scored 8/10 each. They secured third and fourth place respectively according to tie-breaks. The total prize fund was ₹600000. The top three prizes were ₹40000, ₹30000 and ₹25000 along with a trophy each. The five-day ten round Rating Open tournament was organized by Indian Chess Consortium at Sri Venkatalakshmi Kalyana Mandapam in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu from 28th September to 2nd October 2025. Dhanush Ragav N S was the sole leader 8.5/9, heading into the last round. Prajith Kishore and Justin Samuel Rebello were trailing by a full point at 7.5/9 each. Dhanush drew against Justin to become a clear champion, Justin finished third. Prajith defeated J S Poornachandar to finish third.

A total of 216 players took part from all over the country, one from the USA and Zimbabwe each. The five-day ten round Rating Open tournament was organized by Indian Chess Consortium at Sri Venkatalakshmi Kalyana Mandapam in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu from 28th September to 2nd October 2025. The time control of the event was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move.
